Four Financial Institutions Invite UI Students to Learn About Investing in the Capital Market

JAKARTA, investor.id Four financial institutions, Aldiracita Sekuritas together with STAR Asset Management, Buana Capital Sekuritas, and Amantara Securities, in collaboration with the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Indonesia (UI), invite students to be literate in investing in the capital market by holding education financial on May 17, 2024.

Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia VP Fixed Income Sales Mindo Leona said it was important to increase public participation in the capital market, considering that the number of investors in Indonesia had only reached 12,168 million at the end of 2023, which was still far below the potential when compared to the number of productive age population in the upper middle class.

Mindo emphasized that although there has been a significant increase since 2017, this participation still needs to be increased through education and financial literacy. Apart from that, Mindo also educates that financial education is very important for students who will later enter the world of work.

"Of course, we hope that when they receive their income, these students will be able to manage their finances well, and not be trapped by a consumerist lifestyle," explained Mindo.

Apart from that, Mindo also educates that securities does not only offer stock investment products which are currently quite popular among the public. “Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia has a variety of corporate bonds that can be purchased by the wider public.
